"Declare His Splendor"

The azaleas have bloomed, the rhododendrons have buds, the pear trees are gloriously fragrant, baby calves have arrived and the earthworms are squirming all over the place. Glory to God, it’s spring!

Hurry mommas, before summer is upon us and the chance has passed you by, get outside with your munchkins and declare His splendor.

Show them the amazing way that, within a few days time, what was barely peeking above the ground is now a beautiful flower, just as God planned it.

Oooh and Ahhh over the pink sunsets and puffy clouds in the baby blue sky, just as God planned them.

Find a farm and spend a morning watching a calf as you note how much it looks like its momma, just as God planned it.

God has provided an outdoor classroom for you. His mighty works are brilliantly displayed and, with the warm temperatures, you can get right out there and get close up to so many of the wonders of His creation.

And if you don’t have a copy of Chris Tomlin’s song, Indescribeable, get it and play it over and over and over and then play it some more. The lyrics are incredible and you and your children will be blessed by his use of Scripture in song to give glory to God’s creation. Declare His splendor!
