To those who watch her minister, Kay seems to spend much of her life kneeling down to those who are worn out, burdened, shamed, broken, battered and bruised whispering affirmations of God's love and grace. It as if her very life speaks, "You can do this, God adores you, lift your head up, come on look up." Somewhere in the middle of the process you walk away knowing Jesus and His Word better.

Kay, like most of us, is no stranger to trials or pain and she is well aware of the challenges that living in this world can bring. It has been those refining times that allow her to look into eyes and hearts genuinely and to relate to what is there. Here is a life refined by the fire. As a matter of fact when asked, in her absence, what words best describe Kay - in a group of ten women she meets with weekly for Bible study - the word "refined" was offered and tear-filled sighs of agreement went clear around the room. She is a vessel fit for honor.

Kay and Rick, her husband of 30+ years, have had the privilege of sharing their life with three sons; Chris, Brian, and Jeff. Their family has now grown to include a precious daughter-in-law Rebekah and three adorable grandsons; Dylan, Wyatt, and Ryley.
